We were delighted with the holiday, it was an awesome experience.
The Boca v River game was the highlight; it was without a doubt the best experience
I have had at a football match and I have been to World Cups, Euro's and Champions
League games. We also went to see Argentinos Juniors v Estudiantes
in the Diego Maradona stadium which was excellent.
The whole atmosphere of Buenos Aires was top class, really nice city.
The guides were top class as well.
Igacuzu was awesome, we did both Brazil and Argentina sides along with a Speed boat and Helicopter ride.
A special mention for the guide Eduardo who was really great and a mad soccer fan.
Paraty I would have to say was very boring and it took nearly 4 hours to get there from Rio.
I would think maybe it would be better to forget about it and maybe get in a Copa Liberatores game instead.
Maybe it was off season but the only bit of craic we had was a session we did in a Che Gueverra Bar
with two Norwegians a Brazilian and an Argentinean, some laugh!!!!
Rio as you said has a major edge and I couldn't believe the scale of poverty.
We took in a beach soccer match when we arrived and after 10 mins it turned into a full
scale riot, mad stuff indeed! It is without a doubt the most beautiful city in the World with
the beach and mountains, unbelievable!!
The Maracana is spectacular and has so much history.
Overall we were delighted and THANKS for pulling it all together.

"We are just back from an enjoyable 2 weeks holidayvisiting Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, organised by Globe At One (Andrew Davis). Right fromthe start, when shopping around for a good deal, wefound Globe At One to be particularly helpful withexpert advice on the area and in planning our tripwithin a limited budget.
Globe At One stood outamongst its competition - not only with itscompetitive price, but also with its responsiveness tocustomer needs, which is rare.
Andrew was accessibleat all times throughout our trip which we foundparticularly reassuring. My wife and I are lookingforward to our South American trip later this year with Globe At One."

There were many thrills during our trip to Vietnam but a
particular one was the friendly reception that we received
during our visit to an ordinary non touristy pub in Hanoi to
which I have to give glowing thanks to Globe at One in
recommending such a spot to eat!
They were attentive and accessible all through the planning
of our trip.

We spotted Globe at One's advert in the national press and
contacted them for information on a trip to Laos and Cambodia.
Andrew produced an itinerary, which we asked him to tweak a little,
and a couple of months later we were on our way.
Luang Prabang has a bit of a hippies ambience, which was great.
We rose very early one morning to give alms to the monks,
but they were running late so we could have stayed in bed another hour or so!
We benefitted from good personal guides throughout,
all pre-arranged by Andrew, as well as accommodation that suited our needs.
We really enjoyed the highlights of both countries
(too many to mention) in the short time we were there and the
temples of Angkor lived up to expectations.
Great trip, lots of memories, thank you Andrew.
