 Accommodation

HOTELS: Art Hotel (in Buenos Aires)
This is a renowned boutique hotel situated in the heart of Ricoleta with style oozing from the decor and general deportment of this establishment. There is a permanent art exhibition plus 24 hour internet service and an internal patio for those private al fresco occasions. For you trip to Bombonera the connections are excellent with the subway less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Style and chic are the bywords of the Art hotel and it should blend effortlessly with the working man’s ballet you’ll be witnessing in the football cauldrons of passion!!

Hotel Europa (in Montevideo)
It is 0 kms to the Montevideo’s town centre and 1 km to the beach, a greater endorsement of a city centre hotel you couldn’t get! Rooms are spacious and grandly appointed with possible terrace since Monty is a place where people still stroll on an evening. All mod cons are present. There are 3 lifts in this 9 story edifice and again to emphasise Uruguay’s Mediterranean credentials al fresco dining is encouraged during summer and with many flags adorning the front, I’ll see that if you go there an English, Irish, Welsh, Scottish or British flag flutters outside to make you feel even more welcome!

Orla Copacabana Hotel. (in Rio)
The Orla is situated slap bang in the middle of Copacabana beach next to other notable establishments, so upon stepping out the “charms” of the nearby beach are all within your eyeline. There are 115 rooms within this well appointed hotel with many rooms having seafront vantage points, it seems every vista fro there encapsulates Sugar Loaf Mountain… which if clichéd is still very much welcomed!! Note that Avenida Atlantica which fringes Copacabana is pedestrianised at weekends so enhancing your stay at the Orla. The hotel even though in the heart of a vibrant neighbourhood isn’t in the heart of the carnival route and therefore revelry won’t affect your sleep or access to the hotel despite the many people who may well be wandering about, but hey it’s grand party time in Rio.
