• Day 1: After arrival in Bogotá transfer to your hotel acclimatising to the altitude.
• Days 2-4: A city tour followed by leisurely ambling around the La Candelaria colonial hub of the city, also an excursion to Montserrate mountain which reacts kindly to the Andean sunlight at certain times of the day.
• Days 5-7: Flight from Bogotá to Cartagena for an exploration of this immaculately preserved city plus a perusal of the surrounding beaches and a trip to the Tayrona National Park. Also a trip to small town Colombia in the shape of a trip to Taganga is an option too.
• Day 8: Transfer back to Bogotá to spend the night.
• Day 9: Transfer to the airport and an international flight back to the UK.
